The UNCG Speech and Hearing Center offers professional services for evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and hearing disorders and communication differences for people across the lifespan. The Center, in operation since 1967, is open to the public and serves as a training facility for graduate students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Graduate student clinicians work with clients under the direct supervision of UNCG faculty members who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and North Carolina licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. The UNCG Speech and Hearing Center is located on the third floor of the Ferguson Building on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Our physical address is 524 Highland Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27412. Clinic parking is conveniently located adjacent to the Ferguson Building.
The mission of the UNCG Speech and Hearing Center is to provide prevention, evaluation, and intervention services on campus and in the community to individuals of all ages with hearing and communication disorders and differences. The Center also has a mission to provide clinical education to students and to engage in clinical research and community outreach.
