BRIEF BIO
Emily Hamuka is a 4th year doctoral student. She is a North Carolina licensed Speech Language Pathologist and Clinical Educator. Before working as a clinical educator, she practiced in the public schools, private practice, and outpatient settings working with children with speech and language disorders.
She earned her BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders for Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her MA in Speech Language Pathology from The University of North Carolina Greensboro. Her research interests include language and literacy in the school-age population. In her free time she enjoys cycling, spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and traveling.
