Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in Collaboration with the Department of Defense

Posted on October 22, 2015

Professors Lyn Mankoff and Perry Flynn, faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, collaborated with the Department of Defense (DoD) Schools in setting up five internship placements in Europe for our 2nd year Speech-Language Pathology master’s students. The students provide speech-language pathology services under the supervision of their supervising speech-language pathologists in DoD Schools on military bases in Europe.

Three students spent their spring 2015 semester in Germany and took advantage of the unique experiences that the DoD schools had to offer. On weekends they used their Euro Passes to travel throughout Europe. You can read about the experiences of the students on this blog.
