Learn & Earn: 2023 Audiology Symposium

The North Carolina Speech Hearing and Language Association (NCSHLA) announces the return of the Audiology Symposium hosted by Appalachian State University.  This hybrid event will offer sessions both virtually and in person in Boone, North Carolina. Participants can earn up to 6 PDH/0.6 ASHA CEUs during the one-day symposium.  Vice President of Audiology at NCSHLA and Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at UNC Greensboro, Dr. Amy Myers, was instrumental in helping to recruit speakers for the event.   She writes, “I am very proud of the line up,” which includes presentations on timely and important topics including:

1. Ethics
2. Cognitive Decline, Hearing Loss, & Hearing Aids
3. Medicare & Medicaid Billing Updates
4. After the Referral-Beginnings for Parents.
