    Allison Coltisor

    BRIEF BIO

    Allison Coltisor, Au.D., CCC-A is a first year Ph.D. student in Audiology with a focus on traumatic brain injury clinical care and best practices under the supervision of Dr. Denise Tucker.

    Dr. Coltisor presently works as a clinical audiologist in a private practice setting specializing in adult and pediatric balance disorders, tinnitus, and auditory processing disorder.

    Dr. Coltisor received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology with a minor in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies from California State University Sacramento, she then went on to complete her Doctor of Audiology with Texas Tech University Health Science Center after which she completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Vestibular Sciences with Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

    When she is not treating patients, she enjoys mountain biking, running, swimming, learning foreign languages, and enjoys cooking and baking.

    Desi Smith

    BRIEF BIO

    Desi Smith is a doctoral student and a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She has spent her eight years of professional practice in the public school system working with children ranging from ages 4 to 22. Her research interests include adolescent language, expository discourse intervention and assessment, and cultural and linguistic diversity. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking vegetarian food, gardening, and fiber arts.

  • Inga Siler

    Inga Siler

    BRIEF BIO

    Inga Siler is a doctoral student and a licensed speech-language pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University. Additionally, she completed a reading certification program at Cardinal Stritch University. Inga is beginning her 19th year as a speech-language pathologist, and while a majority of her career was spent working in the public schools, she also has worked in the early intervention for infants and toddlers programs and private practice. Inga’s research interests include child language and literacy, assessment and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders, and school based SLP issues. When Inga is not reading research, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, traveling, boating, and Iowa Hawkeye Football.

  • Kimberline Clark

    Kimberline Clark

    BRIEF BIO

    Kimberline Clark is a doctoral student and licensed Speech Language Pathologist. She has practiced in public schools, private practice, and early intervention for over 17 years. Kimberline has worked diligently to improve the communication needs of children diagnosed with speech and language disorders, as well as children vulnerable to delays stemming from economic and/or various environmental factors.

    Kimberline earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and recently, her specialist degree in Special Education from the School of Teacher Education at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Her research interests include language and literacy development in preschool to school-age children, providing collaborative professional development opportunities to assist paraeducators, speech-language pathology assistants, and families in effective ways to improve vocabulary, language, and literacy skills in children, while at school and at home. In her spare time, Kimberline enjoys spending time with her husband and five children, participating in outreach ministry through their church, traveling, exploring authentic cuisines, and “successful” gardening.
