Clinical Experiences
Clinical placements may include a combination of clinical simulation, telepractice, and in-person placements in your geographic area. We have an Online program Externship Coordinator who facilitates in-person clinical placements.
All students will have sufficient clinical experiences to meet the requirements for ASHA certification and state licensure. Some potential sites include:
- Hospitals – inpatient, outpatient and acute care
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Rehabilitation centers
- Public schools
- Special needs schools
- Private practices
- Early Intervention programs
